Helene M. Stafferi, 94, Warner-Lambert machine operator, enjoyed traveling, board games

Helene M. Stafferi, 94, of Lititz, passed away Feb. 1, 2016, in Philadelphia.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Moyer) McCaffery. Helene was the wife of the late Ralph D. Stafferi, who died in October 1999.

Helene retired with 27 years of service as a machine operator from Warner-Lambert. She was a member of Retirees of Warner-Lambert and the American Legion Auxiliary. Helene attended Grace Church of Lititz. Helene enjoyed her family. Most of all she loved traveling. In 2003, at 80 years old, she traveled to Italy with her family to visit her granddaughter while she studied abroad. She enjoyed her summers in Ocean View, N.J. She enjoyed card and board games with her family and friends.

Surviving are three daughters: Barbara Ness, wife of Martin; Sherry McConaghay, wife of James; and Toni Autieri, wife of Richard; five grandchildren: Craig Jones, Shannon Heydt, Allison McConaghay Shu, Alexander Autieri, and Raphaella Autieri; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Helene was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Services were held Feb. 6 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, Lititz, officiated by the Rev. William Willard. Interment was at Memory Gardens, Ephrata.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helene’s memory to Keystone Care Hospice, 8765 Stenton Ave., Wyndmoor, PA 19038, for the staff’s brilliant care and support in Lititz and Philadelphia, PA.
