Gladys R. Gochnauer, Brethren Village volunteer, gifted seamstress, beloved by her family

Gladys R. (Koster) Gochnauer of Brethren Village, Lancaster, went to be with Jesus on April 1, 2014.

Gladys was a talented seamstress, artist, cook and baker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was charter member and elder of the former Lititz First Church of God and past President of the Lancaster/York Missionary Forum. In addition, she was an active volunteer in several activities at Brethren Village.

Gladys is survived by her son: Stephen Koster (wife Ann); her daughter: Cheryl  Warfel (husband R. Kevin); nine grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.

Gladys is preceded in death by her six sisters; two brothers; first husband, Howard S. Koster; and second husband, Harry E. Gochnauer.

Gladys’ Celebration of Life will be held at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. A private interment will take place at Conestoga Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Brethren Village Chapel Endowment Fund.
