Eleanor Louise Stevens, 92, worked at Hagar’s Department Store, active member of St. Luke’s UCC

Eleanor Louise Stevens, 92, of Lancaster, formerly of Lititz, died peacefully in her sleep, Monday, July 24, 2017, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Anna (Irwin) and Henry Stevens.

She graduated in 1943 from J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster. Ellie worked as a sales associate/assistant buyer at the former Hagar’s Department Store in Lancaster. Prior to retirement, she worked at the Lancaster Country Club for 10 years as an office clerk. She was an active member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Lititz.

She is survived by five nephews, a niece, and their families.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Luke’s UCC, 222 N. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543.
