Douglas V. Yingst, 73, Warwick H.S. grad, Korea vet, a kind and gentle soul

Douglas V. Yingst, 73, a native of Lititz, died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born Dec. 5, 1944 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Gordon H. and Ruth M. (Keller) Yingst, and was a graduate of Warwick High School.

Mr. Yingst served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was known as a kind and gentle soul.

Douglas is survived by a sister: Evonne Garman of Overland Park, Kansas.

Funeral services will be private.
