Doris J. Hahn, 82, homemaker, mother of six, enjoyed summer trips to OCMD

Doris J. Hahn, 82, formerly of Manheim Township, passed away at Luther Acres, Lititz, on Jan. 11, 2018.
She was born in Lancaster to the late Ovid and Catherine (Heckel) Wickersham. Her husband, Thomas J. Hahn, passed away in 1961.
A homemaker, Doris had a quick wit and a sharp tongue. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards games, and quilt and country theme shopping. Doris went to the grocery store almost every day. She enjoyed summer trips to Ocean City, Md.
Doris is survived by her six children: Michael Hahn, husband of Pennie of Florida; Tim Hahn, husband of Tammy of Pequea; Tony Hahn, husband of Donna of Lancaster; Susan Groshong, companion of Willy Hollingsworth of Lancaster; Steven Hahn of Ephrata; and Rodney Hahn, husband of Jeanmarie of Oklahoma; stepdaughter: Joan Weaver, wife of the late Emory, of Denver; 10 grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Charles Wickersham of Minnesota, Joan McKinney of Lititz; and Elsie Sprout, wife of Richard of Lancaster.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, Doris was preceded in death by her first grandchild: Seth Hahn; and her stepson: Tommy Hahn Jr.
A celebration of Doris’s life will take place at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, with Rev. Dana Statler officiating. Her family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Private interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
