Deaths of Local Interest – Feb. 18, 2016

Ralph H. Greenawalt III, 71, of Lancaster, died suddenly Feb. 6 at his residence. Ralph was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for Johnson & Johnson for 43 years until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of American Volksmarch Association and the Johnson & Johnson Retiree Club. Ralph was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church where he was active in the choir and as an assisting minister. Ralph was an avid reader and a fantasy sports lover, and a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and Penn State.

C. Lewis Martin, 89, of Ephrata, formerly of Terre Hill, died Feb. 9 at his home. Lewis had been a tow motor operator for Terre Hill Silo Company. He was a member of Bethany Grace Fellowship, East Earl where he had served as an usher. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His sister, Laura J., married to Paul W. Weaver, lives in Lititz.

Nancy R. Weaver, 78, of Lancaster, passed away at home surrounded by her family Feb. 3 Nancy retired after 23 years as a Quality Control Inspector for R. R. Donnelley & Sons, Lancaster. Her son, James, husband of Jerrielle Weaver, lives in Manheim.

Jane Wenzel, 93, of Lancaster, passed away Feb. 11 at the Mennonite Home. A 1940 graduate of McCaskey High School, she was a member of the Church of the Apostles UCC. Her son, Ronald Koring, husband of Billie, resides in Lititz.
