David L. Weese, 75, Army vet, St. James Catholic Church member, avid outdoorsman

David L. Weese, 75, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2018 at Southeastern Veterans Center, Spring City.

He was born and raised in Elkins, W.Va. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1973. David was a work leader at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg from 1980 to 1999, when he retired. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed bowling. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Lititz.

David is survived by his wife of 47 years: Georgianna (Georgie) Weese; his daughter: Jean Mollica; grandchildren: Carina and Brandon Mollica; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son: Timothy David Weese; sister: Harriet Jean Rankin; and mother: Bertha Weese.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Aug. 27 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a mass of Christian burial following at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Aug. 28 at 1 p.m.
