Betty Worrell, 91, worked for McGraw Hill, Sunday School teacher, enjoyed roller skating

Betty Worrell, 91, of Lititz, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim.

Born in Spring Lake, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Rebecca E. (Hutchison) Worrell.

Betty was an accountant/bookkeeper for 26 years at McGraw Hill Companies Inc.; and then was employed by Jersey Central Power and Light for eight years. She was a member and Sunday School teacher of the First Baptist Church at Asbury Park, N.J.; and was a member of the Pioneer Girls of the church. Betty studied advertising design at Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. Her other interests included painting, bowling, and roller skating.

Surviving are two brothers: Erwin of Neptune City, N.J.; Robert of Elkton, Md.; a sister: Patricia Newman of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

As per Betty’s desire, services and interment will be private.
