Audrey M. Houck-Johnson, 88, Graybill bus aide, attended Salem UMC, enjoyed reading the Bible

Audrey M. Houck-Johnson, 88, of Manheim, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Moravian Manor, Lititz.
Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Peter M. and Sarah Behney Hartman. She was the wife of the late Clyde H. Johnson, who died in 2005; and her first husband, the late J. Franklin Houck, who died in 1987.
Audrey worked as a bus aide for Joseph C. Graybill Inc., Manheim; and in her earlier years she worked for the former Acme Markets in Bridgeport and New Holland; and Hubley Manufacturing Co., Lancaster. She graduated from McCaskey High School and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. Audrey enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two children: Joanne, wife of Dale Montgomery, of Lititz; and Thomas Houck, Missouri, fiancé of Cheryl Shelly, Manheim; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six brothers; and a sister.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Salem United Methodist Church, 140 N. Penn St., Manheim, on Thursday, April 13, at 11 a.m. There will be a public viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Audrey’s memory to Salem United Methodist Church, 140 N. Penn St., Manheim, PA 17545.
