Anna H. Wenger
90, Lime Rock Mennonite member
Anna H. Wenger, 90, of Millmont, formerly of Millersville, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Anna, in Millmont.
She was born in York to the late Peter H. and Elsie (Hursh) Gehman and was the wife of the late Menno M. Wenger who passed away in 2008.
Anna was a member of the Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Lititz, of the Weaverland Conference.
She is survived by five sons: Isaac G., husband of Louella (Martin) Wenger of New Bloomfield, Paul G. Wenger of East Earl, Eli G., husband of Hannelore (Zimmerman) Wenger of Manheim, Menno G. Jr., husband of Alta (Kurtz) Wenger of Middleburg, Irvin G., husband of Anna Mae (Kuhns) Wenger of Three Springs; eight daughters: Lena G. Wenger of Manheim, Martha G. Wenger of Morgantown, Elsie G., wife of Stephen Bauman of Manheim, Alta G. Wenger of Lancaster, Edith G., wife of John Meadows of Lebanon, Anna G., wife of Glen Weaver of Millmont, Alice G., wife of Clair Hostetter of NY, Ellen G., wife of Carl Harter of Lititz; 60 grandchildren; 99 great grandchildren; four siblings: Henry, husband of Martha Gehman of Mohnton, Naomi Nolt of Mifflinburg, Eli, husband of Hannah (Zimmerman) Gehman of Denver, Colo., Rachel, wife of Martin Zimmerman of Colorado City, Colo.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter: Freida; a grandson: Wilson Wenger; a granddaughter: Melinda Wenger; two sisters: Elizabeth Burkholder, Kathryn Nolt; three brothers: Titus, Paul and Marvin Gehman.
Services were held May 27 at the Farm Crest Chapel and Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference, with Bishop Melvin Horning officiating. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
