CBRE named to handle Wilbur building sale

Cargill has hired the local CBRE Inc. office as exclusive advisor, offer for sale the Wilbur Chocolate Factory. Wilbur operated this multi-level chocolate manufacturing facility for 113 years.

CargilL has decided to offer the property as a “Request an Offering Memorandum,” giving perspective buyers a 30-day marketing period to tour the property beginning Tues. March 1.
 
Wilbur Map One baseball fieldCBRE will then accepting all call for offers by March 31 and then a 15-day offering review to a SELECTED BUYER on or before April 15. CBRE & Cargill are working to make use of historic property in a way “the Borough embraces.”

Some deatails: The sale includes a 179,798 square foot manufacturing building on 3.30 acres of land, and two additional sites of 0.14 acres at 47 N. Broad Street and 7.69 acres of land to the rear/west of 48 N. Broad Street.
