Three will speak at Manheim Central’s graduation
Three members of the Class of 2018 will speak at Manheim Central High School’s graduation ceremony, set for 7 p.m. on June 8, at LCBC Church, 2392 Mount Joy Road.
The students speaking will be Gretchen Enterline, class president; Zachariah Hershberger; and Gabriel Stewart
Principal Joshua Weitzel will be presenting scholarships and recognizing the Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
Musical selections presented will include: “A Walk in the Forest,” by Timothy Garner, cello, and Alicia Bauman, piano; and “No One is Alone,” featuring the vocal talents of Gretchen Enterline and Tyler Shull, with Bauman on piano; “You Will be Found,” arranged by Alicia Bauman and Tristan Klopp, will be performed by Lily Doerschuk, Grant Patrick, Bauman, and Klopp.
Zachary Bauermaster, assistant principal and administrator of online learning will recognize the senior award recipients. Assistant Principal Elizabeth Bender will recognize those graduating with honors.
Manheim Central alum, Steve McCracken, Class of 2000, will be offer a “Challenge to the Class of 2018.”
Also presenting awards and addressing those assembled will be Class of 2018 Faculty Advisors: Mrs. Iosue and Ms. Locker; and Dr. Peter Aiken, Superintendent of Schools
Dennis Enck, Manheim Central Class of 1970, will lead the induction of the Class of 2018 into the Alumni Association.
