The players of Springs Park Playhouse will present “Screwtape ReWired: School’SIN” May 3 through 5, and 8 through 11 at The Snavely Family Theatre at Linden Hall, 212 E. Main St., Lititz. This is the inaugural production for the newly-formed theater. The May 5 show is a 3 p.m. matinee; all others shows are at 7 p.m.

“Screwtape ReWired: School’SIN” is a contemporary theatrical excursion inspired by C.S, Lewis’ classic “Screwtape Letters.” The play represents a tour de force for four actors, who play multiple characters. This unique take on the underworld is urbane, witty, and offers something for all ages.

Unlike the original, it offers a series of subplots with a good deal of theatrical element providing everything from rap to sword fights. Like the original it provides substantial doses of satire and humor, mirroring but not replicating Lewis’ brilliant text through the immediacy of the dramatic moment. You are cordially invited to join Professor Scapegloat’s class for a special lesson in Sin 101, but be prepared to learn more than just your ABC’s.

Tickets may be purchased online at springsparkplayhouse.com.
