It’s “Will-A-Mania” at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, with “Will Rogers Follies,” playing Sept. 26 through Nov. 6 in this Ziegfeld Follies style extravaganza. With vivacious showgirls and a slew of cowboys, the show is a breezy and stylish biography of the Oklahoma-born humorist, journalist and friend of presidents.

Subtitled “A Life in Revue,” Will Rogers Follies depict the rags-to-riches story of Will Rogers and his rise to a multimedia sensation; touching hearts and minds of more people than any entertainer of his time through a weekly radio talk show, newspapers and movies. Rogers is a rare man who transcended decades and rose to the level of legend by talking about his respect and confidence in the goodness of his fellowman; he is famous for saying “I never met a man I didn’t like.”

Dutch Apple is located at 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Tickets are now on sale and can be reserved by calling 717-898-1900 or ordering online at dutchApple.com.
