Warwick’s Mini-THON is April 26

By on April 17, 2019

UNITE will be holding its ninth annual Mini-THON on April 26 and 27, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in partnership with the Four Diamonds fund. This event raises money for children with pediatric cancer, all of the proceeds going to help families pay for medical bills.

Throughout this past summer and school year, the students have worked together to sponsor major fundraisers, such as the district talent show. Along with this, students have also raised money themselves. A minimum of $50 is required to attend the overnight portion of Mini-THON.

For community members, the high school will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. on the 26th. Filled with games, food, and entertainment, there is something that everyone will enjoy.

At 9 p.m., students will check-in for the all-night dance party that will include raffle baskets, a sports tournament, lip sync battles, and much more. The activities are sponsored by multiple other clubs including Interact, Spanish National Honor Society, National Honor Society, Interact, Student Council, and Aevidum.

In 2018, Warwick’s Mini-THON raised $61, 637. Donations can be made at the event or online by visiting fourdiamonds.donordrive.com and searching for Warwick.

The “big reveal” of funds raised is a much-anticipated part of the Mini-THON event. In 2017, Warwick raised over $45K “For The Kids.”
