Travelogue heads for the Rockies

Rotary Club of Lititz’s second travelogue of the season will feature “The Great Rocky Mountains RV Adventure.”

The travelogues will be show Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Warwick High School Performing Arts Center, 301 W. Orange St. There are two performances: a matinee at 2 and and evening show at 7:30 p.m. Musical entertainment by Doug LaSala will be presented 30 minutes prior to each show.

Come along on the adventure of a lifetime with John Holod, filmmaker. The Rocky Mountains are the back-bone of North America, and include some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Explore the the back roads, following the Rockies from Glacier Park, Mont.; to Jasper, Alberta, in the spectacular Canadian Rockies. Shot in beautiful high-definition wide-screen format, the video includes: Glacier National Park, Waterton/Glacier International Peace Park, Banff National Park, a Johnston Canyon hike, Radium Hot Springs, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, a Columbia River jet boat tour, Columbia Icefield snow coach and helicopter tours, Athabasca Falls, Jasper National Park, and a Maligne Lake boat tour.

General Admission tickets are sold at the door. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for students. Season tickets, which can be used at any show, cost $35 for adults and $12 for students. Season tickets can be purchased from any Rotary Club of Lititz member, or from the Lititz Public Library.

Net funds from Travelogue are given to more than 30 non-profit service groups each year, as well as providing college loans and scholarships to many local students.
