Sensory-sensitive ‘Secret Life of Pets’ screens Aug. 6

By on August 3, 2016

Aaron’s Acres will host a sensory-sensitive screening of “The Secret Life of Pets” at Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lancaster, on Aug. 6, at 10 a.m.

In the PG-rated film, a terrier named Max’s quiet life is upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray, who Max instantly dislikes.

Lights and sound will be adjusted to accommodate sensory-sensitive concerns. Families may bring their own snacks and drinks (no powdered donuts permitted) to enjoy during the movie. The concession stand will also be open.

Tickets will be sold at Penn Cinema on the day of the movie at a cost of $9 for adults and $8.50 for children 12 and under. This is not a fundraiser for Aaron’s Acres, but it is a community awareness event.
