Hope rises ‘From the Ashes’

By on March 13, 2019

Born to be Different Productions will present the musical “From the Ashes” on April 13 and 14 at 2 and 7 p.m., at Landis Hall, The Junction Center, home of WJTL, 1875 Junction Road, Manheim.

Set in the late 1800s, “From the Ashes” is a raw, real story about the struggles we face that are hard to talk about. With their lives and hearts in pieces, six coworkers employed at Sable Street Mechanical can no longer hide the pain and lies that torment them. Each one is faced with their own giant. And each one must decide if they will allow themselves to be defeated again or will they rise up and change things once and for all?

But it won’t be easy. With giants named Rejection, Fear, Anger, Addiction, Abuse, Self Hatred and Depression. How does one get free? Is there any hope?

Due to some of the more mature subject matter, parental discretion is advised for younger children.

Seating is limited. Free tickets are available at thejunctioncenter.com and at the door. A donation will be taken. Visit b2bd.org or Facebook to learn more.
