Christmas event will benefit first responders

Brick Gables will hold its annual Christmas Begins in the Barn event on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. The venue is located at 800 E. Newport Road.

Open to the public, the evening will feature food, games, live music, raffles and crafts, along with some special guests (including a guy with a big round belly who says “Ho Ho Ho!”)

The cost is $10 per adult and $2.50 per child. –cash only, at the door. Attendees get a raffle ticket, food, access to kids activities, and a specialty drink.
